Customer Service Representative/Receptionist for Steep Hill Labs
The customer service representative role is an extremely important one within the company and requires a multifaceted skill set. Sitting at the front desk, the successful candidate will be the first impression for many customers visiting the company or calling in for the first time. An ability to work across a variety of tasks oftentimes in stressful situations is an essential attribute for the successful candidate.
In addition to answering basic sales inquiries, relaying messages, checking the status of out-going reports, and following up with basic client requests, the successful candidate will also be responsible for setting up pre-paid accounts, collecting payments for products and services, and maintaining client records. This role also functions as the main intake resource for customer test specimens, logs in samples to the laboratory information management system (LIMS) in a manner that will ensure chain of custody validity and keeps the sample receiving area organized, clean and with a professional appearance.
