Indus Holding Company is an exclusive California manufacturer for two major edible cannabis brands, Altai Brands and Dixie Elixirs & Edibles. Both brands have extensive product lines that are as creative as they are consumer safety focused. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented sales team to help us make seismic changes in the California MMJ marketplace.
Altai Brands is an exciting new brand of highest-quality edible confections inspired by 2,500 years of humankind’s use of cannabis for wellbeing and health, making ancient knowledge relevant to the present and future.
Dixie has been producing award-winning THC-infused products since 2009. What began as a single flagship product, the Dixie Elixir (a THC-infused soda), has now expanded to over 30 different products across over 100 SKUs, representing the industry’s finest edibles, mints, energy shots, tinctures and topicals.
We are poised to capture a lot of excitement and attention not only for creativity in our products and packaging, but also our dedication to consumer safety, quality standardization and customer service in California’s burgeoning MMJ edible industry.

We are seeking a highly motivated Cannabis Sales Manager to help introduce our industry changing brands to the California market.
Our Cannabis Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets for an assigned territory via an established book of business, engaging and developing new business while maintaining earned business accounts in their assigned territory. The growth opportunities are simply limitless for a motivated team player with an advocate’s heart and desire to grow our industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. * Identify potential customers, initiate and manage prospects through the sales pipeline and close opportunities * Utilize selling techniques and market strategies to expand and build upon client base * Build professional relationships; establish credibility and rapport with clients in an assigned territory * Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, products, market presence etc. * Achieve established revenue target goals * Develop and maintain deep relationships with current clients as well as new prospects * Regularly participate in scheduled Company sales meetings, district and regional conference calls, and other required business meetings * Demonstrate honesty and integrity while modeling behaviors consistent with the company vision, mission and policies and procedures * Occasional weekend work may be required to support industry trade shows and events * Some after-hours work required for educational business meetings and presentations
This job currently has no supervisory responsibilities.
Cannabis Sales Rep
The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty proficiently. * Minimum two (2) years of proven sales experience in a quota driven role with a preference in Cannabis, specialty pharmaceutical sales or clearly relevant industry * Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship * Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record and own transportation * Ability to travel overnight as needed * Ability to travel throughout assigned territory * Strong track record of consistent documented success (such as sales performance, leadership, and/or increased responsibilities), required * Strong business acumen including excellent communication (verbal/written), interpersonal, and persuasive skills * Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product-related information in a professional consultative manner * Ability to build and execute a strategy for assigned territory that generates and develops new business while maintaining and nurturing existing client base * Must maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency * Proficient with MS Office in a Windows environment and familiar with sales tracking and reporting software
Education and/or Experience: * Two (2) or more years of proven sales experience within the Pharmaceutical industry preferred, not required * Associate's Degree with 2 years related experience in Sales or 3 to 5 years experience without a college degree
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency with MS Office in a Windows environment and familiar with sales tracking and reporting software (i.e. Microsoft word, Excel & PowerPoint). Ability to work with cross-platform Mac / MS is desirable.
